The Blue Heron are Back

Every spring the blue heron make Willowrun and vicinity their home and nesting ground. Their huge rest in the lower or middle branches of the cottonwood trees and if you’re careful and quiet you can watch them come and go as they feed their newly hatched and ever-hungry chicks – usually late April or early May.
